Huda Lutfi is an Egyptian visual artist and cultural historian whose interdisciplinary practice explores memory, history, gender, and the symbolic languages embedded within everyday life.

Trained as a scholar of Arab-Islamic cultural history, she draws on archival material, religious iconography, and fragments of popular culture to construct layered visual narratives that bridge the personal and the collective.

Lutfi’s distinctive practice has established her as one of the leading voices in contemporary Middle Eastern art.

Her work is held in major international collections, including the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), the British Museum, the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts, and the American University in Cairo, among others.
