George H. Lewis is an English artist who has travelled across the globe, including long stays in Italy and the Middle East. With his distinctive urge to unveil natural beauty, tackle gender equality issues, and expose all marginalised matters that penetrate society’s meat and flesh, his works impress the viewer.

With his photographs and mixed-media paintings, Lewis tries to challenge the system in an effort to capture the truth that lies within each individual. To Lewis, all men are created equal, for the sun, the moon, and the entire universe is equally given as a gift to us all.

Lewis’ artworks in particular portraits have become a great find for a number of private and royal collectors. His Middle Eastern collection has been represented by Lahd Gallery for the first time at the Singapore Art Fair in 2014 and at the duo exhibition Suspending Light in Amsterdam in 2015.

Moreover, he also conducts lecture tours around the world and forms powerful collaborations with leading institutions, like the NY Centre for Ethnic Racial and Religious Understanding, and governments. He is currently the Creative Director of the Ibrahim Family Foundation, through which he aspires to achieve cross-cultural development.
